Books Read:

A Reliable Wife was our book club selection this month. And I really liked it. A lot of twists and turns, kept me turning the pages. It's kind of slow getting started, but I thought it was a really good read.  Rather surprising ending, I must say.

Something Borrowed is chick-lit at its best. This was my first book by Emily Giffin and I've already ordered more books by her. Last month I read a whole series of books by Jennifer Lensinger and I HIGHLY recommend her books...smart, brassy, LOL funny. Emily writes a lot in the same style. This one is love triangle with a twist in the end! Great beach read.

 

 
Events:

Croppin' for Kids scrapbook retreat - of which I took absolutely NO pictures!  Was too busy scrapping and enjoying my time with Sherri, Gina & Kelly.  Always a great event hosted by Diane & Dana to benefit Easter Seals.

Mark runs his first 5K - the East End

Saying goodbye to my co-worker, Jackie, who was
laid off in August.  I sure miss her companionship every day!
