This month I continued in the series by Emily Giffin. Although these books are not a true series as such, you have to read them in order, I'm just kind of OCD like that!

Baby Proof Sometimes feelings change, and sometimes you do the things that scare you the most for the one you love.
EVENTS:
Mark has begged me for a while to go to Pinnacle Mountain with him. FINALLY on the Sunday before Labor Day I decided to go with him. He packed me a chair and I took my book and something cold to drink, I was just going to hang out while he climbed. He was so sweet on the way there, thanking me for coming with him, saying it was nice to have someone to talk to on the ride...blah blah blah.
But then we got there he shifted into overdrive mountain man mode! Here he is taking off up the mountain on the "hard" trail. I saw a sign that said base trail 3.5 miles. I'm thinking just a trail around the base of the mountain...I can walk 3.5 miles. So I decide to set out. BAD idea...I should have just stayed at the truck and read!
My simple trail turned out to be this: A forest of tress, hills and boulders! I made it half way around and I was DONE! Then I had to wait HOURS for my husband to finish his four trips up and back down the mountain.
Needless to say, I WON'T be back anytime soon!!
